Ralph and Linda love the community of Wilmore and are huge Asbury fans, with three of their sons attending the university.

They are most excited for the opportunity to serve and bless those who come to the Inn.

Rudy & Pat Medlock

Owners, The Potter’s Inn

Pat and Rudy purchased the Inn in 2005 after the land it was on was sold. The Medlocks had the house moved across the street to where it sits today.

At the time, the Medlocks were unsure about what to do with this historic home, built in 1888. However, after much prayer, the verse from Jeremiah which says, “Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message” came to mind.

Rudy, a former Asbury art professor and potter, and Pat decided to name it “The Potter’s Inn” and use it as a bed and breakfast. It is their prayer that the Inn would be a place where people could indeed hear from the Lord.

The Potter’s Inn was an old farmhouse built in 1888 by Charles Lowery, a local banker. The Inn’s size is owed to Mrs. Lowery, who, once they were married, informed her husband that his house was simply not large enough to adequately entertain their guests.

The inn offers four rooms for rent and is a great place for a night’s stay, small family reunion, or spiritual retreat.
